Five Ten Team VXi Climbing Shoe

Regardless of whether or not you’re actually trying to be a human Spiderman, action hero, or just looking to punch it out in a rundown and beat up rock gym, the all-new Five Ten Team VXi Climbing Shoe with MI6 Rubber should be more than adequate to tackle whatever comes at you.

Five Ten Team VXi Climbing Shoe With MI6 Rubber

While we all understand that nothing in the world can quite top real deal experience and climbing actual rocks, the next best thing has to be slugging it out in the rock gym. One of the most fun ways to exercise and really polish up your skills, you should still approach all of your time inside the rock gym as though you were training for the real deal. This means using the same approach you would use outside and trusting your gear as much as you would when you’re out the field.

Now this can be anything but I’d venture depending on how high quality your specific rock gym is. Finding all too slippery holds, sweat and grease on every little crack and crevice you are trying to get a foothold in, and just generally finding the grits to be in disrepair is not an uncommon thing. For these super run down routes and approaches you’ll need the best of the best in sticky rubber, and nothing does it better than the same material Tom Cruise used to stick to a glass building in a Mission: Impossible film.

And though you can use your brand-new Spot 2 Satellite Messenger to signal and check in on Facebook with your geolocation, the most useful function for the device is as an SOS when you’re in a pinch. Depending on the SOS you send, your message will either go out to all your friends and contacts in your social networks alerting them that you are in trouble but not life-threatening, or an emergency beacon message will be sent to all relevant marine and land-based rescue operations. As long as you are inside the satellite area you’ll be able to be rescued quickly and effectively, which is also this device is biggest downfall. If you’re outside the satellite area at any given time, the device is next to useless.

Releasing sometime in the fall of 2013, you can expect this revolutionary new shoe to help you smear on just about everything.

With shoe rubber that is almost just a spongy at the stuff you have on the eraser end of your pencil, you’ll be sticking like glue with very little to just about anything and everything. While definitely not being touted as a big breakthrough in edging, the shoes are going to give you iguana-like stickiness that will not be rivaled by any other product on the market. MI6 rubber is going to be unveiled on a number of shoes throughout the year, but will not hit the Five Ten Team VXi Climbing Shoe with MI6 Rubber until late in 2013. That being said, they are going to be well worth the wait if they live up to even half of the expectations that the climbing world has for them, and I personally cannot wait to strap them on.
